Cleveland Beer Week (https://www.clevelandbeerweek.org) has been throwing one heck of a party for craft beer lovers for many years now. They put a week plus of events together all around the city of Cleveland and the small towns that surround it. Willoughby, Ohio is no stranger to some of the best beers in the world. With many of the bars showcasing a stunning collection of draft options from breweries around the world, the one stand out is Mr. Rick Seibt. Brewmaster Rick was the mastermind behind the Gold Medal Winning Peanut Butter Coffee Porter from Willoughby Brewing Company. He won the Gold in Colorado at the World Beer Cup. Willoughby Brewing Company was a big part of our community. The beer making helped put our little town on the map as people came from all over to try Rick’s amazing beers.
Well it’s been quite some time since any of us have been able to drink some of Rick’s beers but GUESS WHAT?!?!?
Thanks to Cleveland Beer Week and Collision Bend Brewing, Rick’s Gold Winning Beer is back. This is a one night event and part of the Willoughby Craft Beer Crawl during the week. The event takes place on Wednesday, October 18th, 2022 starting at 6:00pm. You’ll start your journey at Ballantine and then hit 8 other locations all serving up something really special. And right from the start, you’re going to be in heaven as the first beer on your list is Rick’s Gold Medal Winner. What a way to start.
After your palate gets wowed by the Peanut Butter Coffee Porter, you can set off to the rest of the locations involved in the event. No particular order at all, just go whichever direction the beer Gods take you. There are 9 locations in total, all serving up some tasty goodness. Let the good times roll and come drink some beer !!!
